Quartzite is a natural stone with no manufactured elements. It’s an extremely hard, compact rock that is created when sandstone is subjected to extreme heat and pressure within the Earth’s crust.

Quartzite has become a popular choice for kitchen and bathroom countertops thanks to its durability. It’s harder than granite and available in a range of beautiful colors, typically in the white and grey families. Quartzite countertops should be protected with a professional sealer. Once sealed, quartzite requires relatively low maintenance and cleanup.
