For The Modern Kitchen
White ceramic subway tile is great for its simplicity, as well as its affordability.
If you have a modern kitchen, choose a stark white like Bright White, which is perfect for black granites as well as marbles. This is a highly versatile color that will not only look great – it will also help open up the space and maximize light.
For The Classic Kitchen:
White ceramic tile will always work well if your kitchen has primarily white, grey, or cool tones. It’s considered a classic for a reason!
If your kitchen has brown tones, go with a warmer shade, such as Almond Glossy tile. This shade will bring out the best in stones that have golden, beige, or brown veining.
For The Rustic Kitchen
If you like the simplicity of subway tile but want to give your space a more authentic, lived-in feel, you have options. Try Crema Marfil with a Tumbled finish, which has a unique, hand-crafted look.
For the Glam Kitchen
If you’re willing to shell out a little more for marble backsplash, consider Arabescato Carrara. This stone typically has dramatic, grey veining and hints of creams and browns. For a more subtle option, try Bianco Dolomite, which has soft, grey veins against a rich, white background.
Both have a little more character than white ceramic, and will look beautiful with most color schemes. The veining and movement of natural stone add dimension to the space.
