If you feel that the quote we present to you does not reflect your actual kitchen countertops project, this would be the best time to raise a concern. It would be easier to address it at this point before we start with the fabrication. We usually request for a 50% deposit to be made at this point to help us with the preparation for the actual fabrication and installation.
During the templating, we will make a pattern of your cabinets. Also, during this process:
– All sinks, cooktops, and faucets are checked for compatibility and fitting. This is why we require that all such units be on-site during templating.
– We will review your cabinets for any adjustments needed.
– We will discuss the overhang, general support, or any other personal preferences. We will also ask you questions about any refinements required to your cabinetry, etc., which might be required before countertops installation.
– Placements of the seams will also be discussed.

Our fabrication process
Before we get to the fabrication, we will request you to approve the slabs we bring. We will also ask you to review and give your final approval to the Quote Checklist presented.
After we have taken the measurements, the actual installation will take around two weeks. We, therefore, ask all our customers to allow sufficient lead time for us to complete the project efficiently. If there is a setback during the fabrication procedure, such as if the top of your countertop is damaged or has to be replaced for any given reason, the installation duration might be extended a little.
– Tear Outs:
If the project requires the removal of your old countertops, this will be done during the installation process. During the tear outs we might have to disconnect your plumbing system. You will, therefore, be requested not to use your sinks until the plumber is done.

– Preparation of the site
We will make sure that all materials required for the installation are available on site before we begin to avoid any delays. Although our installers are not responsible for reconnecting your dishwasher, cooktops, or the plumbing system, upon your request, we can carry out all these activities for you so that after we are done; your kitchen is ready for use.
We also notify our customers that they have a right to all the countertops cutouts after the installation. These pieces can be used for backsplash or vanities.
– Completion of the job
After completing the process, we will ask you to inspect the completed job. Our lead kitchen countertops fabricator & installer will review the complete project together with you so that they can answer any questions you may have.
